Butterfly valve application scope:

Butterfly valve is suitable for the pipeline conveying various corrosive and non corrosive fluid medium in the generator, gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, urban gas, cold and hot air, chemical smelting and power generation environmental protection system, and is used to regulate and cut off the flow of medium.

Butterfly valve applicable environment:

Butterfly valve is suitable for flow regulation. Since the pressure loss of butterfly valve in the pipeline is relatively large, it is about three times of gate valve. Therefore, when selecting butterfly valve, the influence of pressure loss on pipeline system should be fully considered, and the firmness of butterfly plate bearing medium pressure of pipeline should also be considered when closing. In addition, the limit of the operating temperature of the elastic seat material at high temperature must be considered. The structure length and overall height of butterfly valve are small, the opening and closing speed is fast, and has good fluid control characteristics. The structure principle of butterfly valve is suitable for making large caliber valve. When butterfly valve is required to be used for control flow, * when it is important, the size and type of butterfly valve shall be selected correctly to make it work properly and effectively.

1. generally, in throttling, regulating control and mud medium, the structure length is short and the opening and closing speed is fast (1/4 turn). Low pressure cutoff (small pressure difference), butterfly valve is recommended.

2. when throttling and adjusting under special conditions, or strict sealing, or severe wear and low temperature (deep cooling) conditions, special designed metal seal belt regulating device shall be used for three eccentric or double eccentric special butterfly valves.

3. butterfly valve can be selected when double position regulation, contraction ground channel, low noise, cavitation and gasification phenomenon, leakage to the atmosphere is small and abrasive medium is available.

4. the central butterfly valve is suitable for fresh water, sewage, sea water, salt water, steam, natural gas, food, medicine, oil, acid and alkali and other pipelines with the requirements of complete sealing, zero gas test leakage, high service life requirements and operating temperature of -10-150 ℃.

5. the soft seal eccentric butterfly valve is suitable for the two-way opening and closing and adjustment of ventilation and dust removal pipeline, and is widely used in gas pipelines and waterways of metallurgy, light industry, power and petrochemical systems.

6. metal to metal line sealed double eccentric butterfly valve is suitable for the pipelines of gas, oil, acid and alkali, such as urban heating, gas supply and water supply, as regulating and throttling devices.
